LED Light Strips - LED Lite Bars Pre-Assembled with Ultra-Bright LEDs Installed

Our LED Lite is very popular and we customize many of these for different customers. These products are left over from larger orders that were not needed. Each board is pre-assembled and tested and wired for 9v to 12v DC operation.

We have several models available is listed:

LED fX
LED Lighting Effects Controller

The LED fX is an extremely simple and effective design, specifically engineered to control 16 individual output ports. Each port has an LED attached to it, allowing for attractive effects to be achieved by running customized code on the built-in PIC processor.

The unique design allows for the selection of various lighting effects stored on the processor by selecting a routine from the onboard DIP switch. The processor will run the built-in routine selected and display the output on the LEDs.

The LED fX PC board is a high quality, double-sided board, complete with solder masks on both sides, plated holes along with a high-contrast silk-screen labeling component positions. Compact in size at only 3 15/16" x 3 15/16" (100mm x 100mm) and ready to fit into standard size project cases.

Effects are individually selected by setting the programming DIP switch. 64 selections are available from the DIP switches, although not every effects chip will have 64 different selections available for viewing. Various effects chips are available and will include details on the effects along with the code necessary to access that effect. PAK-Vc PWM Coprocessor

Pulse Width Modulation is very useful when programming microcontrollers. You can use PWM to control motor speed, LED brightness, or even generate an analog voltage by filtering the pulse train with an RC network. If you've used software PWM (like the PWM command the Basic Stamp provides) you may have been disappointed. Most software PWM solutions only generate pulses while you aren't doing anything else. Also, many software PWM engines (including the Stamp) don't use a constant pulse width. For example, 50% duty cycle might be 10uS on and 10uS off. But 1% duty cycle might be 10uS on and 246uS off. This can lead to motor noise and other undesirable effects.

The PAK-V offers 8 simultaneous PWM outputs with no overhead from the host computer. You simply send commands via ordinary RS232 protocol and the PAK-V generates PWM until you tell it to stop. You can select 9600 or 2400 baud and use true or inverted serial logic. A simple command switches the PWM generation from proportional (like the Stamp) to equal-area PWM.

The PAK-Vc is backward compatible with the PAK-Vb, but adds a special mode that allows you to connect 2 to 32 PAK-Vbs to a single pin! That means you can control up to 256 outputs from a single RS232 output.

Perfect for robotics project, motion controllers, or anywhere you need to generate analog voltages with 8-bit resolution. These chips are also very popular in lighting applications since they can dim an LED or other light source (with appropriate drivers, of course).

Pan/Tilt/Zoom Color Camera

The Picturetel PTZ-2N is a NTSC color video conferencing camera that can do pan, tilt and zoom. Is has the ability to zoom optically up to 10X, 200 degree of pan, 60 degree of tilt with a minimum lighting requirement of 7lux. Video output is through a standard RCA plug.

We have a total of three cameras available, each with their own 12v power supply included. Units have been tested for base functionality (no pan/tilt test) and worked flawless. These are available separately, or all three at once.

To operate the Pan / Tilt / Zoom capabilities, you will require an interface cable which can either be purchased or assembled easily. See here or here for for information on building your own control cable.

Ultra-Bright Flexible
LED Light Strip

We have available a number of our flexible LED light strips available in various lengths, and come with connection lead wires attached (usually 12", although some are shorter). These units are 100% functional, measuring 0.32" wide by 0.1" tall, and have a viewing angle of 120 degrees. LEDs are spaced 0.65" apart and can be trimmed in three-LED lengths (approximately every 1.9").

Modules run on 12v – 15v DC, draw very little current (approximately 150mA for a string of 18 LEDs, or 25mA per set of three LEDs), generate almost no heat, are immune to vibrations, are tiny in size and are super easy to mount. Each LED Strip comes equipped with 3M industrial grade adhesive transfer mounting tape (the same type used to hold nameplates and decorative trim on automobiles, appliances and electronics).

Just how bright are the LED Strips?
Blue: Produce 12,500mcd at 465nm
Red: Produce 7,600mcd at 624nm
Green: Produce 11,000mcd at 525nm
White: Produce 19,000mcd in Cool White
Yellow: Produce 6,000mcd at 590nm

Ultra-Bright Flexible LED Light Strip

We have available a number of our flexible LED light strips available in various lengths, and come with connection lead wires attached (usually 12", although some are shorter). These units are 100% functional, are sealed in a silicon membrane measuring 0.40" wide by 0.16" tall, and have a viewing angle of 120 degrees. LEDs are spaced 0.65" apart and can be trimmed in three-LED lengths (approximately every 1.9").

Although these units are sealed in silicon and offer excellent water and dust resistance, we cannot recommend these for use in submerged applications.

Modules run on 12v – 15v DC, draw very little current (approximately 150mA for a string of 18 LEDs, or 25mA per set of three LEDs), generate almost no heat, are immune to vibrations, are tiny in size and are super easy to mount.
