TIP120 NPN Darlington

High-Current Arduino Compatible Switch

The TIP120 is a powerful Darlington transistor capable of switching heavy loads of 5A continuous (8A peak).

Suitable when a transistor is not powerful enough for your project, a Darlington Transistor may be a better solution. Use whenever you need to control medium to high-power electronics such as motors, solenoids, or high-power LEDs.

Each TIP120 is a general-purpose amplifier with a BCE pinout and a DC gain of about 1000. A TO220 Heatsink can be attached to improve heat dissipation.

It can be used with an Arduino to drive motors, turn lights on, and drive other high-power gadgets.
