The 12095 Passive Buzzer is a compact 12 mm × 9.5 mm electromagnetic sounder designed for projects that require full control over tone generation. Unlike an active buzzer, this unit contains no internal oscillator and must be driven using an external square-wave signal from a microcontroller, timer IC, or signal generator.

The 5 V model delivers a reliable 80–85 dB output with a resonant frequency of approximately 2300 Hz ± 300 Hz, making it well-suited for alarms, user notifications, sensors, and embedded applications.
