This I2C LCD interface module allows you to control standard 16x2 and 20x4 character LCDs using only two wires (SDA and SCL), saving valuable GPIO pins on Arduino and other microcontrollers.

With backlight power control, you can set the backlight power supply is connected by a jumper.
- Plug jumper to connect backlight power supply.
- Unplug the jumper to disconnect the backlight power
Contrast can be adjusted by adjusting the blue potentiometer. Potentiometer design on the front, enabling adjustment anytime
Modules can be cascaded up to cascade 8. Modify the device address via a short circuit A0/A1/A2. Default address is 0x27.

Legend: OPEN = Jumper not connected (logic HIGH) BRIDGED = Jumper soldered (logic LOW)

Note: On most LCD I2C modules, the A0–A2 pads are internally pulled HIGH. Leaving a jumper open = logic HIGH (1). Soldering a pad connects it to GND = logic LOW (0).
