TEMT6000 Ambient Light Sensor Module

Easy Hookup to Microcontrollers

The sensor acts like an NPN transistor; the greater the incoming light, the stronger (higher) the analog voltage on the signal pin. Packaged in a transparent mold, the device is sensitive to the visible light spectrum, closely matching the sensitivity of the human eye. Features a wide viewing angle of +/- 60° with a a peak sensitivity at 570 nm.

The module has three connections. V for input voltage from 3.3V to 5V DC, G for power ground, and S for output signal voltage.

Easily interfaced to Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
