Power DC Devices from USB-C PD Sources

Power your compatible 9V or 12V DC equipment directly from a USB-C Power Delivery (PD) charger, power bank, or USB-C PD power source. These USB-C PD trigger cables automatically request a fixed output voltage from the connected PD power source and provide it through a standard 5.5x2.1mm DC barrel plug.

Ideal for powering WiFi routers, network equipment, small monitors, LED lighting, audio equipment, embedded systems, test equipment, and other devices that normally use a 5.5x2.1mm DC power connector.

Important Compatibility Information

PD Charger Required

This cable requires a USB-C Power Delivery (PD) compatible charger, power bank, or power station. It will not operate correctly from standard USB ports that do not support PD voltage negotiation.

12V Model Requires 12V PD Support

If purchasing the 12V version, your USB-C PD power source must specifically support a 12V PD output profile. Not all USB-C PD chargers, power banks, and USB-C power sources provide a 12V PD output profile. If 12V PD is not available, the cable will not produce 12V at the DC output.

Before ordering: Verify that your USB-C charger or power bank supports the required output voltage (9V or 12V) and that your device uses a 5.5x2.1mm DC power connector.
