This battery holder is by far the easiest way to add a single battery to a small design and includes a bonus power switch. This battery holder uses one Lithium CR2032 (20mm diameter, 3.2mm thick) sized coin cell resulting in 3v DC output. Lithium coin cells are not rechargeable, but they are inexpensive and very easy to find.

Perfect for soldering into a circuit or inserting the leads into a breadboard. Ideal for electronics projects, restorations, robotic designs, cosplay costume, or driving LEDs.

This small board measures only 38mm x 30mm (1.5" x 1.2").

Battery Box Built-In Options

Switchless Operation Jumper

There may be installation requirements where you would prefer not to install a switch on board. If this option is desired, there are a pair of solder pads on the back of the board. Simply solder-bridge the two pads and this will eliminate the need for a switch and will result in unit always operating in the on mode.

Onboard LED Indicator

For applications where you would like to run an LED with the controller, there is a set of pads on the board specifically for this. The mounting position is labeled LED. The LED is powered when either the switches are turned on or if there is a jumper placed across the Switchless Operation jumper.

The board features the ability to mount three different models of switches. This shows the Top Mounted, Side Mounted, and Push Button switch options. 

Correct Installation Of Push Button

When installing the push button, it is essential to position the switch, so the notch faces the side of the board as shown in the image. If the push button installation is reversed, the button will be active when it is in the up position and not the down position as most would expect.
