PIR Motion Detector Switch for LED Lighting and Automation

This PIR (Passive Infrared) motion detector switch automatically activates connected devices when motion is detected. Ideal for LED strip lighting, cabinet lighting, closets, hallways, bathrooms, basements, garages, warehouses and other areas requiring automatic illumination.

The sensor detects movement within a 120° field of view at distances up to 5m (16.5ft). When motion is detected, the output switches on and remains active for an adjustable delay period. Timing can be configured from approximately 15 seconds using the internal adjustment control.

Although specified for 6V-24V DC operation, this module has been successfully tested at 5V DC operation by both PCBoard.ca and customers, making it suitable for a wide range of low-voltage projects.

The unit uses convenient 5.5x2.1mm DC power connectors and can switch loads up to 5A peak (3A continuous). Installation is simple using the included mounting screws or adhesive pad.
