IR Avoidance Sensor
Detects From 2 to 30cm
This module is an inexpensive solution for an obstacle avoidance sensor, perfect for robotic projects and very easy to interface directly with Arduino and compatible boards. The module has a single potentiometer for adjusting the sensitivity.
This sensor module comprises an IR transmitter and IR receiver. The IR transmitter continuously emits an IR signal which is then reflected by an obstacle and is then detected by the IR receiver.
Interface
VCC: external 3. V-5V voltage (can be directly connected to 5v MCU and 3.3v MCU)
GND: GND External
OUT: small board digital output interfaces (0 and 1)
Detection Angle: 35 °
