RIFA 0.01 uF, 275VAC X2 Capacitor

0.01 uF - 10 nf - 10000 pf

This capacitor is very common in vintage computer repairs. The original RIFA capacitors are known to dry out over time and years later when powered up will emit smoke and a strong odor.

This is a direct replacement for the 0.01uF 275VAC X2 rated capacitors.

TRS-80 Model 4 or Model 4P: If your power supply is an Astec, there are a pair of these capacitors located at C1 and C13 which should be replaced.
