Arduino MEGA 2560 R3 Compatible with CH340G

The Arduino MEGA 2560 is based on the ATmega2560 microcontroller and is compatible with the Arduino family of boards. The MEGA 2560 is fully compatible with a genuine Arduino Mega 2560 and is programmable with the Arduino Software (IDE).

The MEGA 2560 features 54 digital input/output pins, including 14 pins which can also be PWM outputs. Also included are 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports). The board features a USB connection, DC power jack, ICSP header, along with a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a power adapter or battery to get started. The MEGA2560 is compatible with most shields designed for the Arduino UNO.

The MEGA2560 is an update to the original Arduino Mega.

Setup and Configuration

The MEGA 2560 utilizes an onboard Ch340G UART. A separate safe driver is needed to allow your host computer to communicate with the MEGA 2560. It is strongly encouraged to download the USB driver for your operating system from WCH official website.

Connectivity

The Arduino MEGA 2560 features a USB Type B connector for programming, power, and application monitoring for connection to a host computer. A USB cable is available separately should you require it. The cable is available as a USB Type A/B or USB Type B/C or Type B/C Right.
