Looking for a simple and inexpensive way to add Bluetooth audio to your project? The Bluetooth Lossless Decoder is as simple as you can get. Simply provide power (3.7v to 5v), connect the audio-out port to your device (such as an amplifier or headset), pair with your Bluetooth smartphone or computer and that is all that is required.
The Bluetooth Lossless Decoder Board allow for playback from a smartphone, tablet or computer over Bluetooth of audio files in MP3, WAV, APE or FLAC format. Supports Bluetooth 4.1 with output in stereo.
The optimized design of the decoder board measures only 1.2" x 1.2" (30mm x 30mm), allowing for placement in the most tightly confined locations.
Power to the board is delivered through either the onboard micro USB port two solder pads on the board. Input voltages from 3.7v to 5v DC are supported.
Stereo audio out is available from either the onboard stereo 3.5mm interface jack or from the set of solder pads (Left, Right and a common Ground). The audio output can connect to a headphone or a separate audio amplifier.

Power on the board and the Blue indicator LED will turn on and enter the Bluetooth pairing mode. The blue power LED indicates the board is ready to be paired to a Bluetooth device.
The audio port on the board will chime a short tune to indicate the decoder board is ready for pairing.
From your Bluetooth equipped device, search for available Bluetooth devices and locate and pair to the device named "XY_BT". Once successfully connected, the board will play a short tune indicating pairing was complete. You are now set up and connected, and audio or music from your connected device can be played.
