TCA9548A I2C 8-Channel Multiplexer Module

Connects up to 8 I2C devices or 8 separate I2C buses

The TCA9548A I2C multiplexer allows up to 8 devices with the same I2C address to be connected to a microprocessor or controls up to 8 separate I2C buses.

This is a great problem-solver, especially for I2C sensors or display modules with hard-wired I2C addresses where there is a requirement to use two or more identically addressed devices on the same I2C bus.

Controlling the multiplexer does not require a library as one can simply send a command to it over the I2C bus.
