An externally threaded fastener with a head that has slightly rounded sides, a flat top, and a flat underside. To be used with internally threaded nylon fasteners in applications that require corrosion resistance or electrical insulation. Nylon's other advantages include resistance to greases and oils; a low coefficient of friction; ability to maintain its torque strength when exposed to a wide range of temperatures.

The nylon fasteners are a popular and safe solution for use with CNC machines. Nylon is a soft material and has much less opportunity to damage cutting bits if you run into them while machining. Useful on CNC wasteboards for holding down the board to machine surface in countersunk holes. Popular for use with the FoxAlien series of machines, including the Woodmad Series WM3020 models which have pre-tapped 6mm holes already. Compatible with many of the current small form factor CNC units including those from FoxAlien WM3020, AnoleX 3020Evo and other 3018 series CNC routers.
