Arduino Uno R3 is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328P. It features 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz quartz crystal, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started. Due to the low cost, you can tinker with your Uno without worrying too much about doing something wrong.

We offer two versions of the Arduino UNO R3 compatible devices. One is a replica of the original UNO R3 (see UNO R3 with ATmega16U2), which does not require any extra drivers. The other unit (see UNO R3 with CH340) has the same functionality but uses a CH340 UART for the USB interface and is less expensive.

Setup and Configuration

The Arduino Uno R3 is completely compatible with the genuine UNO R3 and no special drivers are required.

Compatibility

Our Arduino Uno R3 is fully compatible with the genuine Arduino Uno. Unlike other boards that require a particular driver, the Arduino IDE immediately recognizes this board without the need for additional drivers.

Other boards utilize an intermediate onboard driver (such as a CP2102) to interface the Arduino UNO to the USB port, which requires a unique extra driver. The genuine Arduino Uno and this model incorporate an ATmega16U2 processor for onboard communications eliminating the need for intermediate drivers or patches.

Connectivity

The Arduino Uno R3 features a USB Type B connector for programming, power, and application monitoring for connection to a host computer. A USB cable is available separately should you require it. The cable is available as a USB Type A/B or USB Type B/C or Type B/C Right.
