Arduino UNO and Arduino IDE Full Compatibility

Atmel ATmega328P microcontroller in 28-pin DIP package and commonly used in the Arduino UNO line of controllers. The processor can be used on a breadboard to create your Arduino-compatible project or could even be used to repair a damaged Arduino Uno.

This kit includes the ATmega328P (either fully pre-programmed with the Arduino bootloader or without) and the minimal components needed to build your stand-alone system.

Each kit includes:

• 1 x ATmega328P
• 1 x 28-pin IC Socket
• 1 x 16MHz crystal oscillator
• 2 x 22pF crystal loading capacitors
• 1 x 0.1uF 50V electrolytic capacitor
• 1 x 0.33uF 50V electrolytic capacitor
• 1 x L7805 5-volt voltage regulator

The ATmega328P is fully compatible with the Arduino IDE, allowing you to build small microcontroller projects quickly. This is the same DIP chip used on the Arduino UNO boards.

The processor is available either with the Arduino bootloader pre-loaded for 16 MHz. operation, or available blank. We recommend purchasing the pre-loaded bootloader to replace an existing damaged UNO processor, although you can also load this yourself with the appropriate hardware.
